Eight sessions across the day, each building on the last. Bring whatever you shoot on — a phone is completely fine.
Getting off auto and taking control. Frame rates, resolution, focus and the settings that actually change how your work looks.
The single biggest thing separating amateur footage from professional. ISO, aperture and shutter — what each does, and why exposure matters more than any camera you could buy.
How to read the light you already have, and how to shape it. Window light, cheap setups that punch above their price, and the mistakes that flatten a shot.
People forgive bad video. They never forgive bad audio. Choosing a mic, placing it properly, and recording clean sound anywhere.
Structure that keeps people watching. Writing for the ear instead of the page, and saying more in less time.
The first three seconds decide everything. Building openings that stop the scroll — and why most hooks quietly fail.
Talking to the lens rather than at it. Presence, eye line, pacing, energy — and sounding like yourself with a camera in your face.
What actually drives reach: retention, pacing, rewatch, framing and payoff. Giving a video its best chance without chasing trends.

No. Bring whatever you shoot on — a phone is genuinely fine, and a lot of the day is about getting more out of the gear you already own. If you do have a camera, bring it and we'll set it up together.
Your camera or phone, a charger, headphones and something to take notes on. If you've already got a mic or a light, bring those too. That's it.
You're in the session live — you can ask questions and I answer them as we go. You get the full recording afterwards either way.
